TCM launches long-awaited Reach Truck – with class leading aisle width

TCM has unveiled its new ERT range of reach trucks – and boasts a class-leading aisle width. The ERT comes in three capacities 1400, 1600 and 2000kg and offers lift heights of up to 9750mm. Comparison of aisle width specifications based on the 2000kg TCM reach truck handling a euro pallet on its short side, showed the TCM to have a tighter aisle width requirement than 1600kg capacity BT, Linde, Jungheinrich and Atlet trucks. New factory facilities and expansion for TCM Fork trucks

A new electric fork truck assembly line is to open in early 2008 as part of an expansion of TCM’s Shiga Production Plant in Japan. The factory will produce 22,800 trucks for domestic and export markets in 2008 with production rising to over 25,000 trucks in 2010. Earlier in 2007 the plant opened a new drive-unit factory on the Shiga site. The factory will produce over 30,000 drive-units in 2008. Read more…

TCM launches new 3.5T electric forklift

A new 3.5 tonne electric counterbalance truck has been launched by TCM. Born from customer demand for higher load capacity trucks which are still environmentally friendly, the FB35-7 offers low operating costs, high levels of driver safety and comfort, and choice in performance and efficiency. The truck has an advanced electronic AC control system and is powered by a rugged 72V battery which offers 8.5 hours operation time per battery charge. Read more…
