TCM history timeline
1949 |
TCM established and produced Japan’s first forklift truck. |
| 1950 | Forklift truck export began. |
| 1952 | Ryugasaki plant established. |
| 1960 | TCM produced Japan’s first wheel loader. |
| 1967 | TCM opened the Rep. office at Düsseldorf firstly in Europe. Shiga plant established. |
| 1970 | TCM moved office from Düsseldorf to Brussels. |
| 1976 | TCM America Inc. establishes sales and distribution in US |
| 1979 | TCM designs and markets the first high visibility mast. |
| 1988 | The U.S. production company, TCM Manufacturing USA Inc. established. |
| 1990 | TCM Europe S.A. established and production of forklift trucks started in Belgium. |
| 1991 | The Chinese production company, ATF(Anhui TCM Forklift Co., Ltd.) established. |
| 1996 | Shiga plant received TPM award of Excellence. |
| 1997 | Shiga and Ryugasaki plants received ISO 9001 certifications. |
| 1999 | Shiga and Ryugasaki plants received ISO 14001 certifications. Company name changed to TCM Corporation. TCM European Parts Center opened in Belgium. TCM is the world’s eighth (8th) largest lift truck manufacturer. TCM is larger than Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Clark and Daewoo. |
| 2001 | TCM Asia Distribution established in Thailand. |
| 2005 | TCM Europe stock center opened at Havelange and PDI operation started. FTB-7 and iNOMA have been launched and got “Good Design Award”. |
